Open letter from the JAC Motors Australia Technical Team.
From a technical and product engineering perspective, the philosophy of ‘No Shortcuts’ is more than just a bold statement. It’s a commitment, something that constantly reminds us of the standard we are striving to reach.
And truthfully, that’s not a light thing to say.
Anyone who has restored a car or built something properly knows what a 'no shortcuts' build really involves. It takes time, effort, patience, and the willingness to revisit something until it’s right.
But that process, the time, the discipline, the persistence, is where pride in the work comes from.
And that mindset isn’t limited to the automotive world. You see it anywhere people care deeply about what they build. Where the goal isn’t simply to finish the job, but to do it properly.
Ultimately, what turns a philosophy and a vision into something real is the commitment behind it. The discipline to keep improving, to keep refining, and to stay accountable to the standard we’ve set.
That is what 'No Shortcuts' means to us.
And we look forward to proving that commitment through the Hunter.
